Cheer News: Nfinity unveils the first sub six ounce cheer shoe.

The Phoenix is available exclusively at Varsity for $74.99. The three different styles of cheerleading shoes, the Phoenix, Passion and Evolution are available in youth sizes 10, 11, 12, 13, 1 and 2, and women’s sizes 4-11, 12, 13 and 14.

NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championships Help Local Economy!

According the 13 Central Florida News:

DAYTONA BEACH -- Competitors of this year's NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship are counting their trophies and medals while local merchants are counting their profits.

Merchants say this year's competition was a nice economic shot in the arm. That's because more than 5,000 competitors and 15,000 spectators stayed in area hotels and ate in local restaurants.

A University of New England team of 12 spent around $30,000 to come, stay and compete.

Even souvenir shops were cheering those profits.

Around 220 teams from Hawaii to Japan spent several days competing.
