What is a Spirit Showcase?
We know that your team is more that a 2.5 minute routine and we think it’s time the world knows it!
We have been talking to coaches around the country and we’ve heard that you want a place where your cheerleaders can show all of the work that you do for your school or organization. Not only do you practice HOURS on end but you spend HOURS on activities including: school spirit activities, pep rallies, school decorations, community service, fund raising events, school leadership and so much more!
NOW IS THE TIME to show the world your Total Team with CIC Premier’s Spirit Showcase!
Spirit Showcase Details:
The Showcase will be held on CheerleadingInfoCenter.com from February 6 - 18, 2017.
It consists of teams in various Divisions sending a video that is up to 2.5 minutes that highlights anything the team wants to show! Think of the video as a “commercial” for your program; common segments in the videos include of course cheerleading skills from a routine but also includes: school spirit activities, community service, school leadership and more!
During the Showcase, people will get to VOTE on the videos that they like. At the conclusion of the Showcase, we will announce the Showcase Champions in each of the Divisions.
Why Participate in the Spirit Showcase?
- It is the Perfect School Spirit Activity! This is a great way to get your school involved and have them vote for your team! Also, many schools have the students media department create their videos and then air them on the morning announcements. The Showcase is a great tool to promote school spirit and pride!
- It is also a Great Team Building Activity! As a TEAM, have each member (s) be in charge of a certain segment of the video and work together to create something that they are all proud of. To help you, just fill out the Showcase Video Worksheet to get started - CLICK HERE!
Who is the Showcase for?
The Showcase is for ALL CHEERLEADERS in High Schools or Cheer Gyms! Many teams do not want to participate in formal competitions as they do not have experience or it is too expensive. Also, many teams don’t want to compete as they may feel that going up against the more experienced teams is an uphill climb.
One of the great things about the Showcase is that it is not about a 2.5 minute routine but it is about your ENTRIE SEASON and the amazing things you do in your school and community. Essentially, the Showcase is an equal opportunity for all teams to win!
How to Participate in the Showcase:
Participating in the Spirit Showcase is SO EASY!!! All you have to do is:
1. Complete the Registration Form HERE.
2. Send us your video link from YouTube
3. Tell all of your friends, family and SOCIAL MEDIA FOLLOWERS to vote for you.
4. Win your division by having the most votes!
